It was planned to take a ride up one of the passes today but the weather forecast was for possible thunderstorms and certain rain so we took a ride out of town looking for a sports shop. Mark has convinced John that he should have a cap under his helmet if he wants to look like a biker and wraparound sunglasses to be the real deal. We didn’t find a suitable shop before it rained so we rolled back down the hill into town and stopped at the first restaurant in the pedestrian zone. Outside was already full of people sheltering from the rain so we just went inside for an early lunch. We are now preparing our kit ready to leave tomorrow and relaxing until it is time to go out for the evening. After all the sunshine, this is what today looks like left and right from our balcony.

We are hoping tomorrow will be dry long enough for us to get to Toblach otherwise it will be a very dirty ride on the gravel trail.
